The Marshall Plan

Education will be my top priority. I began my working career as a North Carolina classroom teacher, and I learned firsthand that we must do a better job at training and compensating our teachers and inspiring students to reach new heights.

Thousands of jobs in North Carolina have been lost due to the stalled economy and failed foreign trade policies. I’ll work to rebuild and strengthen our economy for all of America’s working men and women.

I will fight tirelessly to reform health care and make sure we finally pass a meaningful Patients Bill of Rights. Families deserve affordable, quality healthcare and access to prescription drugs coverage.
